At some point Hype’s first love, that of literature and the written word, crossed paths with his second, namely (yup, you guessed it) anime and VNs, which resulted in what has become by now a lifelong obsession with one day seeing the respective strengths of the two traditions married together into some singular work.

So far his own attempts at such a synthesis have been largely unsuccessful. But the ever-present possibility of seeing such a work brought to life—by his own hand or another’s—is reason enough for him to keep getting up in the late afternoon.

… Well, that, and the first coffee of the day. (Yeah yeah another writer obsessed with coffee, very original I know)

Hype holds a degree in Computer Engineering, and graduated on academic probation. Contrary to popular belief, his handle is in truth canonically short for, ‘Hyperbolic Paraboloid’.
